In the Write PSLE Booster programme for local (MOE) school students, we will immerse students in an intensive curriculum designed to enhance their writing skills and produce high-quality, examination-ready work. This programme emphasises precision and clarity, ensuring students can craft well-structured, cohesive, and impactful compositions and situational writings within the time constraints of the PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination). Our focus is on strengthening both narrative and expository writing skills while integrating critical exam techniques tailored to meet the demands of the national examination.
Our students will explore key genres relevant to the PSLE English composition component, emphasising strategies for idea generation, effective content structuring, and the creation of engaging narratives and arguments. At the start of the term, they will analyse exemplary compositions and texts to grasp essential techniques, including crafting compelling storylines, and persuasive arguments, and maintaining logical progression in their writing.
Throughout the term, our students will engage in intensive practice sessions, receiving targeted feedback to refine their work. They will also enhance essential writing components, such as developing vivid descriptions, using precise vocabulary, and incorporating varied sentence structures. This programme ensures that students are well-prepared not only to meet the expectations of the PSLE but to exceed them with confidence and competence.
