Wonderlit Speak: Upper Primary

In the Upper Primary programme, our students will learn to apply various vocal skills in their conversations, enabling them to speak with clarity and fluency using simple, captivating language. They will develop convincing personal views and learn to summarise and respond to a range of questions and discussions spontaneously, backed by substantial reasoning. Students are provided with opportunities to engage in current affairs, broadening their knowledge and understanding.

For presentations, our students will enhance their ability to use a wide range of language structures to deliver persuasive speeches with greater ease and confidence. They will focus on vocal expression, eye contact, and body language to engage their audience effectively. To further hone their skills, students will explore diverse topics, developing their personal styles in addressing an audience.

With strengthened analytical skills, our students will be able to summarise and communicate information logically, expressing their views confidently in both conversations and speeches.

Drama activities will also play a key role, allowing students to practice their communication skills in a creative environment. Through role plays and improvisation, they will gain confidence in expressing their ideas and responding to different scenarios. These activities will enhance their vocal and physical skills, making their conversations and presentations more compelling.
