Terms & Conditions
In consideration of enrolling the mentioned child (the “Student”) in the programme(s) offered by Wonderlit Education Centre Pte Ltd (“Wonderlit”), I, being the mother, father or guardian of the Student, hereby agree to the following terms and conditions on my and the Student’s behalf:
1.
The enrolment of the Student in the programme(s) as indicated on the Registration Form is conditioned upon, inter alia:
- payment of a registration fee, together with applicable Goods & Services Tax (“GST”) or any other tax that may be levied by the Government of Singapore from time to time, if applicable;
- payment of a deposit per programme upon the resgistration of the Student’s enrolment; and
- advance payment of a full or remaining term programme fee(s), together with applicable Goods & Services Tax (“GST”) or any other tax that may be levied by the Government of Singapore from time to time, for all registered programme(s) before the Student starts the first lesson.
2.
In the event that applicable fees remain unpaid, Wonderlit reserves the right to disallow the Student from attending any classes. The student’s place in any programme shall not be confirmed unless full payment of all applicable fees is made.
3.
Wonderlit reserves the right to do any or all of the following, in its sole discretion, as it may from time to time deem necessary:
- make changes to the conduct of classes, including but not limited to, transferring, combining, dividing or dissolving a class, changing educators, rescheduling classes, and varying the manner in which classes are conducted, such variation to include the conducting of classes online if required;
- amend or vary the contents of the classes, according to programme priorities and student needs;
- refuse entry to the Student if the Student is deemed to be unwell, or if Wonderlit has reason to believe that the Student has been in contact with or has been exposed to another Student or person who is harbouring or is likely to or is suspected to harbour the agents of a contagious disease; and
- terminate the Student if he or she demonstrates behaviour that is detrimental to the welfare or safety of its staff and other students. In the event that the Student is terminated, Wonderlit will not be under any obligation to return any fees paid to Wonderlit.
Wonderlit may at its discretion where feasible, give written notice prior to effecting or carrying out any of the above changes.
4.
The Student shall not be entitled to receive any programme materials, in hardcopy or electronic form for any classes which he or she has not registered or paid for. In the event that the Student commences classes mid-way during any programme or term, the Student shall only be entitled to have access to materials utilised or distributed from the date on which the Student begins attending the classes.
5.
Fees for unattended lessons are strictly non-refundable in any event, whether due to individual absence, or closure of the studio as a result of public holidays gazetted or otherwise declared or observed in Singapore. All lessons in the term must be attended within the term. No lessons may be carried forward to the next term and be offset against future term’s fees.
6.
The Student may be offered, subject to availability and at Wonderlit’s sole discretion, up to a maximum of three (3) replacement classes each term. Replacement classes will also be offered for classes that fall on a public holiday within the same week but this is not counted towards the three (3) replacement classes allowable. In the event that it is not possible to arrange a replacement class due to a lack of vacancies in other classes, Wonderlit may arrange for a 1-on-1 replacement for a duration that could be less than what is offered in a regular group class or provide the Student with the programme materials for the particular class which the Student failed to attend. With respect to holiday camps, requests made for replacement classes will be decided on a case-by-case basis and at Wonderlit’s sole discretion.
7.
In an event of an outbreak of contagious disease or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Wonderlit’s control (see Force Majeure), there will be no physical make-up classes or refund of fees. Wonderlit may make alternative arrangements to move classes online. If the Student chooses not to attend online classes, Wonderlit is not obliged to refund any applicable fees.
Fees, Payments & Withdrawals
8.
The registration fee which is payable upon registration by all new students may be subject to change at any time without prior notice and is strictly non-refundable in any circumstance.
9.
All applicable fees will be reviewed from time to time and may be subject to change at Wonderlit’s sole discretion as it deems fit.
10.
Payments to Wonderlit may be made by any of the following methods:
- PayNow, payable to UEN 202039273C (with invoice number and Student name in the reference); or
- cheque, payable to “Wonderlit Education Centre Pte Ltd” (with invoice number and Student name at the back of the cheque), and send to 442 Orchard Road, #03-08 to #03-12, Claymore Connect, Singapore 238879, by hand or mail.
11.
Fees paid for the programmes and holiday camps are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable to any third party or other student, following payment confirmation from Wonderlit. For the avoidance of doubt, Wonderlit shall be under no obligation to refund any fees paid in the event that a decision is made to withdraw the Student at any time before or after the commencement of each term or the holiday camps from Wonderlit after confirmation of payment has been issued.
12.
13.
A Notice of Withdrawal form from Wonderlit must be completed and submitted by the Student at least one calendar month before the last day of the term. In the event that less than one calendar month notice is given, Wonderlit shall not be obliged to refund any part of the deposit.
14.
If there are outstanding payments from the Student, Wonderlit reserves the right to use the Student’s deposit to offset any outstanding amount before the balance of the deposit (if any) may be refunded.
15.
In the event of a withdrawal by the Student regardless of whatever reasons before the registered programme(s) commence(s), the deposit paid will be forfeited. The one calendar month notice in clause 13 will not be applicable.
16.
Consent is given with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of their Personal Data for the registration and continued enrolment of the Student in Wonderlit, and such other purposes as described in the Wonderlit Privacy Policy. A copy of the Wonderlit Privacy Policy is attached to these Terms & Conditions and may additionally be found online at www.wonderlitworld.com/privacy-policy

While Wonderlit will be happy to accommodate, as far as possible, any such special requests relating to the Student, Wonderlit and/or its Staff accepts no responsibility in respect of any hurt, injuries or illness to the Student arising therefrom.
22.
In the event of an emergency, Wonderlit is authorised to arrange medical attention for the Student as may be reasonable and available in the circumstances. All expenses including but not limited to medical fees, hospital fees and any incidental charges in respect of medical attention given to the Student shall be reimbursed to Wonderlit for any such fees and charges which may have been paid by Wonderlit.
23.
Wonderlit shall not be liable for any default or closure of classes due to any force majeure event such as the act of God, war, strike, lockout, industrial actions, terrorism, sabotage, fire, flood, drought, haze, tempest, pandemic or epidemic of infectious diseases or any other event beyond Wonderlit’s reasonable control.
24.
To ensure its compliance with applicable laws and regulations during a force majeure event, Wonderlit shall be entitled to make all necessary changes or adjustments to the manner in which its operations and services are carried out, without the need to amend these Terms & Conditions, or give any prior notification to the Student.
These terms and conditions supersede any prior written or oral agreement relating to the Student’s enrolment in Wonderlit. Wonderlit reserves the right to amend any clause in the terms and conditions from time to time.
