Embark on a magical literacy journey inspired by the story of Madagascar by Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath! Join us as we explore rhythm and storytelling while building essential reading skills such as sound blending, word segmentation, and sight word recognition—all designed to strengthen phonological awareness. Meet the cheerful Wonderlit Sound Monsters through fun, hands-on, and interactive activities that make learning come alive!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Letter Sounds (A – Z): Develop essential letter recognition skills through playful games and exercises.
  2. Blending & Segmenting: Learn to blend letters/digraphs to create words, along with basic segmentation skills.
  3. Sight Words & Vocabulary: Acquire 50 sight words or more and broaden vocabulary.
  4. Reading & Comprehension: Practise reading developmentally appropriate sentences and passages.
  5. Pre-writing Skills: Strengthen writing skills through engaging fine motor activities.

For 3 to 5 years old
5 half days / 9 AM to 12 PM or 2 PM to 5 PM

Step into the amazing world of The Jungle Book, a beloved classic by Rudyard Kipling, and get ready for the wildest reading adventure! Follow Mowgli through a land filled with wild animals, hidden secrets, and exciting challenges. Crack codes, solve mysteries, and unlock secret doors while boosting reading skills—improve comprehension, sharpen critical thinking, and master problem-solving in the greatest literacy journey ever!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Multisyllabic Words: Learn to decode words with short vowels, long vowels and silent sounds.
  2. Comprehension Skills: Practice making inferences and sequencing to improve understanding of texts.
  3. Critical Thinking: Enhance the ability to analyse and interpret text.
  4. Reading Proficiency: Improve reading fluency and phonetic spelling, and expand vocabulary.

For 6 to 8 years old
